FAQ 1

Question: Why can't I log into the ad submission forms? I am using the password and user id that I got in the sign-up email.

Answer: Does your password and/or user id contain capital letters? Please remember that passwords and user ids for AD-Patriot are case sensitive for added security.

For example, if your password was K97gye4L, neither k97gye4l or K97GYE4L would work. You will have to enter it exactly as it was spelled in your sign-up email.

FAQ 2

Question: Why doesn't my file upload? I keep having to submit the form again and again - each time re-typing my information.

Answer: If your browser version is more than version 4.0 (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape or Mozilla 2.0), then you should have no problems uploading a file on this site. The cause of this may be clicking the submit button more than once and/or clicking the browser's refresh button (both may cause data loss).

FAQ 3

Question: Why does my file take so long to upload?

Answer: The speed at which your file uploads depends on a variety of factors. However, the biggest determining factors are the speed of your internet connection and the size of the file you are trying to upload.

Here are average upload times for a 1 MB file:

modem (28.8/56 kbps) - 22 minutes
ISDN (64 Kb) - 2 minutes
cable modem (110 Kb) - 1 minute
ISDN (128 Kb) - < 1 minute
DSL (384 Kb) - < 30 seconds

To calculate how long it will take to upload a file, multiply the number of MBs your file is by the time that corresponds to your connection speed above.

FAQ 4

Question: How do I know if the file upload is working?

Answer: Please click the Submit button only once. Your file may take several minutes to upload (see previous question), please be patient. You will know that it worked when you get the "Thank You" screen listing your submitted fields.

Question: What should I do if I encounter an error message or discover a bug while using this site?

Answer: From time to time you may encounter an unexpected error. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please report errors/bugs when you see them here. Bugs are corrected as soon as possible.

FAQ 6

Question: I don't have the same Sales Representative for every ad I need to submit. Do I have to change my salesrep in my personal information section every time I submit an ad?

Answer: No. A new field has been added to each Ad Submission Form (for both Graphics and Display Ads) entitled "Sales Rep. for this Ad." You may choose "Use My Default Salesrep" or select a different sales representative who needs to be notified that you have submitted an ad.
